Thousands of members, casuals, families and Locals participated in the Labour Day and 100th Anniversary march in Prince Rupert on September 6th. The event was a triumphant success and showed the strength and solidarity of the ILWU. Banners, flags and chanting were abundant as the crowd moved through downtown Prince Rupert to Mariner’s Park for speeches and a barbaque. Congratulations go out once again in recognition of Prince Rupert’s 100th year of organized labour, and a big thank you to all who participated!
